Kruger Park Safari :)

You guys might be wondering why aren't there any pictures uploaded with all the lions, leopard etc etc and etc on my fb right. HAHAHA. Keep the best to the last i would say. hahaha.

We went to the Kruger National Park which is around 20000 km sq feet! literally larger than ireland. hahaha. We gotta spent the whole day in the Safari looking for animals to come out. And guess what, on that day itself we spend almost 10 hours in the park, and only travel a one tiny incy wincy bitsy part of the park.  Lol. But even so it isnt a easy job thou. Your eyes could hurt so much that u would wanna just nap but could not cuz there was this main 5 animals which were named The Big Five by Africa. The most famous animal in Africa ever! Which is the Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhinoceros and last but not least the Elephant! :) Tour guide told us that, it might be dangerous sitting on a ranger therefore, we drove our own bus that day, cuz they're afraid that the animals could hop into the ranger and might hurt us. they are all not trained etc etc, they live like they are in a jungle, although it is a gated area.

The tour guide told us too, you might not be able to see ALL 5 of The Big Five! The percentage of seeing all the 5 is like 0.01% hahaha. You must be very extremely lucky if you're able to see all of em. Especially the Leopardsss!!! Then lion could be the 2nd hardest. then Rhino then Buffalo and then Elephant! Definitely you will be seeing Elephant for sure! cuz they are toooooo easy to be spot! hhahaha. No offense Mr E :) There are only 900 Leopards around. It is literally DAMN hard to have a close view of leopard, The tour guide kept on emphasis that, hahaha. And he said if u see some leopard tml, then you have to go to the Casino for sure, and maybe could buy so lottery or what so ever hahaha.

When we first get into the Safari, we were all so damn excited that all of us with 48 eyes kept our eyes open for the firs 30 mins. hahaha. We saw Impala, Kudu, and elephant in the first 30 mins! hahaha.

The first elephant spotted!
i know lah, very very very very far. ==''

Impala! Spot the "M" word at the buttock! hahaha.
It has a nickname which is "Mc Donald" because it is very productive and the fast food for the lions and other predators! hahaha

Kudu! they just love to hide into the bushes! *had a kudu the night before as dinner at the Kruger park Hotel. felt sooo..... sorry for the kudus! hahaha.

Male Kudu spotted!
Yuppp, it true that all the male animals looks more attractive.. the horns, colours etc etc and etc!
Same goes to the Giraffe, leopard etc! They have more "contrast" on their skin tones. with brighter colours and spots. Ostrich too! have darker color feathers!

You can see impala and kudu like EVERYWHERE!!! we got bored afterwards and everyone in the bus started chit chatting, mom and the aunties start talking about Cabbage fried rice! HAHAHA! so random. i was listening to them, how to cook and etc etc. and afterwards!!

GUESS WHAT!!!!!!

we spotted LEOPARD!!!!!!! on a treee!!!! fuhyoh!!!!!!

Nominated for the best picture of the day! credits to sister. and also to my lovely cam! hahaha.

We were all so darn excited. everyone went to one side of the bus which made the bus ter-senget one sided. hahhaha.
Actually all thanks to an aunty on a bus. she was so concentrating on looking for the big five. and that time the bus driver is driving kinda fast! idk how she spot that leopard hiding hahaha.
We actually went passed the tree, but the aunty shouted "LEOPARD!!!!! LEOPARD!!!!!!!! REVERSE REVERSE REVERSE!!!!
immediately! the bus driver reversed and TADAA! hahaha. Lucky us!!! thanks to the aunty <3
The tour guide was god darn excited he shouted too hahaha. he non stop repeating that we are god darn lucky, that we got to see a leopard this close!!! and the leopard was actually looking at the impala down there on the ground trying to make his move until he saw us and looked at us and ran away afterwards. hahaha. It was literally once in a life time scene the tourguide said. That was his first time seeing leopard this close after working as a tourguide running around for 10 years alrdy! Lucky us.
The aunty got lucky too! Her husband bought her a diamond ring which cost around 6k for her. Just because she saw the leopard. hahaha

We then went for lunch, another protected area in the park, fenced up with electric gates i guess. Had our lunch and continued our journey seeking for the big 5!

Spotted some crocs, taken at different place on a different time.
 Croc hunting for foooooddddd

Camouflage croc spotted hahaha, this croc phailed. hahaha

How many croc can you find?
Spot the one opening the mouth? hehehe

Hippo FOUND! hahaha
i know its smalll.....:(  [Sorrryy Mei] they just wont come out of the water.
i was told that they dont have pores on their skin, therefore they would just hide in the water to keep themselves cooled. hmmm :(
Hippo was one of the most dangerous and deadliest animal there. If u walk near them or what-so-ever kacau them, they would attack you. They could easily kill you by bitting you into half with their oh-so-big-mouth & they are so huge that they could just simply bang on you and knock you down, which would take your life too. Cases like this often happens in Africa.

Next, would be the giraffe. You could see giraffe everywhere too. cuz they are just soooooo tall. haahah
BUT! its hard to see them close to you too.
HEHEHE.
we lucky ppl yay! saw a giraffe having his meal just beside the road! hahaahah

omnomnomnom :)

He kinda saw us and got scared later, when over the road. hahah
and i succeed caught this amazingly beautiful picture, yay!

Giraffe crossing the road. First time ever! hahaha.

Another Giraffe spotted!
He is so cute that he turned back to look at us for like a few minutes until we are gone. hahaha.
I guess he is curious what we are! HAHAHA.
we are literally paying for the entrance fee for the animals to look at us. =='' XD

Spotted a family of elephants later. The baby one is so cutee!!!!
The male one is walking towards us!
At first,He look like he wanna attack us or what hahha

But later on, we found out that, he just wanna go poo poo. ==''
LOL, poo poo scene caught on cam. hahaha. so paiseh. lol

Stilll....
Trying.......
To.....
Spot.......
The other Big Five!! :(

Going through a tough time!

AND YAY! BUFFALO SPOTTED! by our bus driver! hehehe.

So coooooollll hahaha.

Spotted a rhino too! but.... no pictures taken. cuz it was too far. wuu wuu :(
Kinda sad thou.

It was around 4smth alrdy and we cant see any lions around. :(
It was reported that there are at least 200 lions around! but... :(

The gate are closed at around 6pm, the tourguide told us too, if you're 1cm from the gate and its 6pm. THEY WONT OPEN THE GATE FOR YOU. =='' which is kinda....hmmm..
Not like you cant get out or what after 6 lah, but you wil have to call the management and ask the other ppl from inside to come out and open the gate for you. They were kinda strict thou. ahh nvm. that wasnt my main point.

We kept our eyes opened every sec, looking for the lions.
& i kinda fall asleep. HAHAHA.
The next thing i know is them shouting LION!!!!!
and sister hitting on me beside me, and then
Me : opened my eyes, *with the blurry face* heard them saying THE LION IS CROSSING THE ROAD!!!
Me : GRAB THE CAM AND RAN TO THE FRONT!
lol.

This is the only picture i caught. The lion was looking back on us after she ran across the road. hahaha.
Its around 5pm at that time. Bus driver drove us back to the hotel cuz i guess everyone was too tired alrdy.
Was kinda upset, cuz there's only a female lion spotted. :(
But on the bright side, at least i saw all of The Big Five! :)

off to sleep now!
xoxo, vny.venee :)
